EXCITING NEWS! Food Network stuff!

So, for those that watch the Food Network and Dinners, Drive-ins and Dives my not know but they came to my work this March and our episode was aired! (Westside Drive-in BABY) I was even on it for a short second even though they filmed me a ton. I had just lost my voice and well, it didn't sound pretty.

ANYWAY. Guy is doing a road show and he is coming to our town, tomorrow night. My boss was picked to be the opening act and guess who is going to be the assistant?

ME.

AWESOME RIGHT? I'M EXCITED. So I get to help! Not sure if it's going to be on stage or just set up, he has me ready for both. But if nothing else I get to sit backstage and watch it all go down. I FEEL LIKE LIFE IS HANDING ME COOKIES AND STUFF.

Other news: Finally finished getting the Fire It Up vid uploaded to Megaupload you know. It only takes me a week.

Also, no longer as cold but now tons and tons of snow and I hate driving in it. SO BAD. I can't complain too much as the last two years I didn't have a car and had to bike everywhere since public transportation in my city is a laugh.

So I baked of chocolate chip cookies to ah "pay" a co-worker of mine to help get the huge branch that fell into my yard after a huge storm we had last week. He took half and i think I ate at least a dozen today and there are still more left. OH GOD.

oh the plus side the sugar rush gave me energy to clean the cat box, do all the dishes and laundry. Just not out away yet, going to have wrinkly cloths :(

I'm starting to notice a trend in which the men with whom I have had, er, casual encounters with have somehow ending up dating my friends. On top of small paranoia of being stalked via dating friends and/or being used to get to said friends. This brings up to a large list of uncomfortable topics.

Example: "Oh hey, I'd like you to meet... you've meet? how?"

And I really don't want to answer that question. I really, really don't.

So! Halloween was eventful, before the night even started I was involved in a little photoshoot for my friends photography project.

Chris, a good friend, and I were asked to model. I don't have the photos from the shoot (which I might post once she is done developing them) but! I do have the after shoot in which my poor digital camera is whipped out (harhar) and some photo's are taken.

The Camera Lady herself! She doesn't like her photos being taken. Hm.

Also! Two little Halloween photos. I really don't have that many of myself since I was behind the camera all night.

I am on the right and went as Marilyn Monroe. The lovely lady on the right is a v. good friend. She went as the Whore of Babylon. Awesome idea huh?

I just can't help but remember back in the day when people hated SGA. Said, don't go there because it's a horrible show. SGA and countless other fandoms, everyone upset for others going to those fandoms for whatever reason. But people calmed down.
