I just can't help but remember back in the day when people hated SGA. Said, don't go there because it's a horrible show. SGA and countless other fandoms, everyone upset for others going to those fandoms for whatever reason. But people calmed down.

And this too shall pass.

Yeeeeeah, I know exactly what you mean. I was always going to watch it, at least give it a try, though I wasn't thrilled about it. I didn't think it was going to do nearly as well as it did, nor be as amazing as I have found it these past five years. And turns out I love it more than most of my fandoms.

I've never seen a perfect show yet - if we waited for perfection we'd all be sitting around twiddling our thumbs.

I always thought fandom was just us fans taking the flawed show and 'fixing' the bits we don't like.
